Non-breaking AI for places that can't afford surprises

I’m a ’nerd by nature’ who happens to do this for a living. SRE, Kubernetes, GitOps, the self-hosted AI stack — applied where downtime gets measured in regulatory fines and where “move fast and break things” earns you a very unhappy change board.

Most of what shows up on this blog started as a problem I refused to leave alone. A Hugo blog needed analytics — I ended up running BGP ECMP across three nodes. A pile of half-working AI prompts became JAPIE. Each post is the honest version of how I got from A to Z, including the parts where I was wrong.

Day job rhymes with the hobby. I freelance for larger orgs in regulated industries — banking, transport, enterprise IT — who want to bring AI and modern platform work into environments that can’t afford surprises. NL-based, EU-friendly, occasionally on-site.
